DatsunBoy77
Ok, i thnk i already know the answer but seeing that Ross's kit converts to 5x114, can they actually be drilled for 5x120? I can get a great deal on 17's if this size works. But next problem is the front. If i go to the 300zx front hubs, i am guessing they are the same size. Can the fronts be changed to 5x120 in any way. Actually the different offset in the front would work perfectly to. Basically this would net me some 17X8's for $400 brand new never mounted. DatsunBoy77
oh, yeah and i must add the only reason i would ask this question is i am very strict on not running spacers. Also, that bolt pattern leaves not much advailable in a 0 offset wheel, unlike 5x120. If i were to use 5x114 the closest i can get is +17mm. Also, how do you think 16x7 in the front and 17x8 in the rear would look. I am not into lare rims really but for the prices i can get hooked up with right now i just may. Just stay 5 lug to 5 lug or 4 lug to 4 lug and you'll be ok as a general rule of thumb. Next, 16x7 and 17x8 rear should look fine, but you have to measure or look at the sidewall of tire you will run to make sure they will look ok on the car. A bigger rim is fine but if you have to run a 40 series tire on back and a 60 series up front you'll be way out of wack (that is an extreme example, but it illustrates my point). Just be reasonably sure they will look good together and you'll be set. Davy
DatsunBoy77
Actually after doing some searching i found that wheel is also made in a 5x114 with +15mm so the 300zx hubs will work in the front, but seeing how i dont want to run spacersi, i think i will try to make some 5x120 hubs in the back so every thing will fit perfect and no spacers needed. Anyone have trouble fitting 17X8's in the front?
