  1. Looking for camber plates to fit coilovers, prefer bolt on units such as ground control or EMI. Will settle for techno tuning toy or arizon Z car weld in plates though. Was going to buy new but figured give you guys a shot...
  2. if the original poster is still selling i am in ny and was bout to get one... i am willing to drive some to get iit..
  3. No, pretty cheap. I work at advance auto, and we carry a few colors in stock. I have been wanting to see if the "hugger orange" looks in person.
  4. yeah, thats right. I forgot they changed it to sr20forum.com. It has been like wo uears since I was there last until like a month ago when it came up in a google search.
  5. They do make an adapter for "L" series transmissions. Check sr20deforum.com......
  6. I would do the swap in my festy but I need the money to go in the Z. plus its my daily driver.
  7. Go to item #7910795414. They make them in 16x8 with a 4x4.5 with 0 offset if you want. I don't know if they do that with 17's though.
  8. I guess technically you could make that seven, Enven though mine ownt be in to probably next year. I got the engine siiting at work, just waiting on funds to get it started.
  9. Here is a question i was thining about looking at my Z thinking about where the sr motor is going to sit... How did everyone who has done it, run their throttle cables? I have seen those ones with the L6 motor with the Late model sentra cable and bracket, but with the throttle body being on the other side, how have you compensated. I am figuring on going with some universal ones by Lokar, but is there anything else i should look for.... Maybe just a stock one from a 240SX may work...
  10. I am probably going to go that route, It is just that my setup is a really old version that I know they don't use anymore.... I have been looking online and I may have found them, but I have to get the one i have out and do some more measurements.....
  11. Does anyone know a the part number on the needle bearings on the top hats of coilovers. i believe mine are ground control and the outside diameter is close to 1.5". I only set i had laying around were some timken's but they were .25" to big. I work at an auto parts store so I can pretty much cross over any part number and get it so any brand will be much appreciated. I am going to see If i can go through the cataolgs and see if they have the needle bearings and washers by size.. Thanks Ryan
  12. Yeah that is a red top RB20DET from a 86-88 R31 skyline/Z31/Cefiero(sp?). The distributor definatly looks out of place and i dont think it is stock. I wont know for sure to later this week or weekend when i can go pick up the car. I have posted the distributor question on RB20DET.com's message board hoping they will know. I am a little dissapointed at the fact it is only rated at 178bhp. Good thing it reacts good to upgrades. But damn are camshafts expensive. Jun wants $1050-$1695 for thier cam kits.
  13. Thats what i was thinking because of the distributor. Every R32 and newer skyline i saw was distributorless, and the only motor advailable with a I-6 turbo was a Rb20 before the R32 back then anyways. But i was so hoping for a rb25. Maybe one day.
  14. I got the pics to get on my computer. I am going to try to get them in my gallery here, but i will send you 2 pics in case i cant get them to work. Warning though, they are large but not the best looking as i forgot i had my camera in low quality. Ryan
  15. Ok, after aquiring a RB powered 240Z for 1/3 of the price that a front clip goes for, I have some questions about it. Fisrt off, I am having trouble identifying it. It has a distributor on it. I havent seen a picture of an rb motor with one on it. It looks identical to both the rb20/25 except for that. Also all the rb20's i saw had rb20 on the timing cover. This didnt have it. Last i was wondering, does anyone know if someone has run Megasquirt on a RB motor yet? I am starting a new harness for mine to mate it to this engine. Thanks. Ryan
  16. I actually ave some pics on my digital, but I have 3 computers that arent working very good now and i cant get them on it. it looks like every rb20/25 but it deosnt say on the timing cover and it has a distributor. I wish i could go look at it better but it is an hour away at the guys house until thursday or friday when i can go get it. I am going to try and see if i can load my picture program on the computer i am using now so i can upload my pics.
  17. One of my friends already offered me his GTI and $3000. I am not selling anytime soon. Just a FYI, I guess i am going to be parting out my 280 i stripped, but there really want a lot that was good, but i have some good L28et parts that i no longer need. Any requests PM me.
  18. Saturday, I went to look at a 72 240Z that was found in a garaget of a home that was abandoned for a few years because of the owners death. The sherrif that bought the house dirt cheap had the car for sale for $1500 and only new it had a clean VIN and was from Arizona (still had plates) and has been tere since 93. Well it looked real nice with litttle rust spot behing the rocker panel where it goes into the wheel arch. But he had told me on the phone it didnt run but knows nothing about this car. So, I am thinking nice, but maybe not $1500 nice. Then I open the hood. I couldnt believe what i saw. As a matter of fact i kinda looked over it becuse i thought it was a KA24. Then i got hlf way around the back and thought, hey was that a 6 cyl? Yup. It had a RB motor siting in the engine bay. All mounted up. I just stood there in awe. The guy said he thinks it is not the original motor because it still has a chain tied around it, and i concured. I gave him $1350 on the spot. So now I am the proud owner of a mounted RB powered 240Z. I just am not sure which RB motor it is. I couldnt find any marking but then again i was having trouble focusing. It is missing quite a few items though, but my megasquirt should take care of that. Which RB motors used distributors? Every one i can find a pic of is distributorless. Only thing I could find on the engine was Twin Cam 24valve Turbo. I saw the RB20's usually say it where the distributor is but this didn't say anything. So how did I do?
  19. This is kinda wierd, the other day i was looking at struts for a 280Z at the auto parts store i work for and it said the struts fit the coupe, hatch, and wagon versions. I couldnt figure out why the hell they had a wagon listed under a Z. Whoever put that in the system must have seen that picture.
  20. Nice, and for those who dont see it you have to scroll down to the bottom of the side menu and turn on adult settings.
  21. hey tim, are the blushing faces from experience?
  22. hmmm... man found naked and had nuts bitten off from dog. This may just be a guess, but after a few psych classes, this one doesnt seem too hard to figure out. To me it seems the guy was trying to...umm..mate with the dog, and hurt him, so the dog went for the genitles. Sexually assaulted people usually attack the "member" of the attacking party. That is just guess though withought reading all the facts and statements of the case.
  23. I also got mine in today, and i must say it does look good. It will go perfect with the EZ wiring kit i got for my Z's body wiring system. Ryan
