Guest kcambron Posted August 14, 2003 Share Posted August 14, 2003 I was hoping you guys could help me locate this engine knock. I have done a search and learned a little. The engine knocks sometimes at engine start up, but not always. The knock is very noticable under light or heavy excelleration. The oil pressure is running fairly low( there is oil in the crankcase). If the bottom end is shot, what would be a ROUGH estimate for a local yocal to rebuild the bottom end. This is a nice Z but I have a earlier year that I am going to keep so I am looking for a fairly inexpensive rebuild if it comes to that. Thanks in advance!
