what hasnt happened to me, no start now, please help

all i did today was take a fresh wiring harness and replace the weathered one i had in my ZXT today. its an 83 turbo, 5 speed.

 

well when i was done i started the car and drove it down the street and back with no problesm.

 

a few hours later, no start at all. turn off the fuel pump and it would start, but hard start and run. once while having it running i replaced the fuse for the fuel pump and the car shut down immediately

 

changing out the harness in the engine bay is almost childs play and is basically plug and play.

 

i dont understand what went wrong, only difference between the two harnesses is that the one i originally had has one extra ground wire that the new harness didnt have. also, it has, what seems to be an extra injector plug in the area of the tps.

 

can anyone help??? please, i need this car running asap!

come to find out for some reason that the throttle postion valve was out of adjustment.

 

adjusted the TPV, now she runs just as good as before.

 

i wonder why though that it had to be readjusted, it was running perfectly fine before with the other harness. everything is proper everywhere else.

 

just dont get that one. any ideas as to why?
