Hey everyone i have a later 74' model 260z with thos big ol'e bumpers on it and i'm thinking of taking off the back one and shaving it and putting a front air dame on it. The only prb is will this drastic change in weight make the car sit up higher????? i was thinking of lowering the car but i dunno if i should due too this factor, i'm trying to get as low as petes V8 z http://mywebpages.comcast.net/pparaska/ i'm actually going for that look. Also what are some good companies for lowering springs ? What are my options i'm on kind of a budget ??? any ideas on getting it low ?

I looks like the MM coilovers are adjustable to give you the height you want? And all you would have to do is grind the old perch off smooth? That way I could lower my front as much as needed. It looks about 1 inch higher than the back right now, & I'd like to lower the whole thing about 1 to 1 1/2 inch.

cool.

I have a 1978 280 which has the bumpers removed. On the front is the remaining piece of the MSA Aero Kit, ie: Dam with molded bumper.

The rear was shaved by the prior owner, due to curing the rust which came up under the aerokit, ie: rockers and rear.

Car looks good in MOA.

It seems to ride about 1/2" higher than normal.

I am preparing to install 240Z lowering springs and Tokiko HP strut cartridges. I believe it will arrive at a total drop of about 1.5".

I tried to paste a picture on here, but apparently I am using the wrong method.
