Guest tom sixbey
well, on top of the brake problems i was having (which are now thankfully resolved) my 240's flex-a-lite trimline fan motor burned out... what a piece of crap. That fan lasted an entire year.
spotfitz
What ever you do, don't bother with the perma-cool fan. Mine didn't even last 9 months, with a relay. The thermo sending unit didn't even work when I got the setup new. The taurus fan has worked flawlessly ever since though and it was used. Guest zfan
Taurus 2 speed= the only way and cheapest way to go!!! Mike
Guest tom sixbey
the taurus fan is what i'd prefer to use, however it wont fit behind my griffin radiator with the inliner.. when i pull my motor swap it'll work though... strangely enough, i came outside later on that day and found the fan mysteriously running on its own!!! - and at almost twice its normal speed! i think its posessed... JoeinCA
heh... posessed fans... I havent driven for long periods of time with my V8Z yet... but the taurus 2 speed's low setting has (thankfully) kept the engine from overheating. in 100+ degree heat! I have a stock radiator from a nova. uh... yeah, Joe
