Guest Anonymous
I just installed a EWP water pump in my 510.It assists the belt driven pump and comes on with the pusher fan in front of my radiator. I have always had a problem with the temp rising in the car after drag runs and idling on hot/warm days.I installed the EWP and took the car on a drive hitting boost in the car out in the country and blending back into city traffic several times. The turbo motor has always heat soaked and would rise to over 200 in city traffic in no time at all. Now I sit in traffic the pusher fan and the EWP comes on and the temp stays at 180 no matter what.I didn`t baby it before I went into city traffic either. http://www.peterdmotorsports.com

Sean 83ZXT
That looks very interesting. Could you give us some more info on the install? -Sean83ZXT
Guest Anonymous
It was pretty simple, I just hooked up the water pump into my lower radiator hose and ran the power wire to my pusher fan thermostatic switch so it comes on at the same time 195* as the pusher electric fan.The pump is made of the same plastic as a radiator and only weighs 2 lbs.The only thing I plan to do different is to use an actual electronic control unit to turn the fan and the water pump on and off http://www.centechwire.com/ All I have to do is piggyback it with the GM tempsensor from the SDS.And I will plumb the coolant lines to the turbo so that they get fed by the elctric water pump.
