Schlasken
what about gearbox mounts, anyone who make them?
BRAD D
I dont Rick might, I made mine (1973 240) they are like the stock ones in the tunnel, used with the stock trans mount. I do not make them because I know year to year the tunnel changed. As for the motor mounts I think they are all the same.
Guest Anonymous
Hey Brad, in regards to your rb mounts, Do they sit the motor further back? I heard that sitting it further back would require custom drive shaft or something like that.
BRAD D
yes it dose put the motor further back and yes you will need to get a custom drive shaft made, I used the front piece from a Z32.
Guest Anonymous
Hey thanks Brad. If you dont mind me asking, how much money does a custom driveshaft set you back? Including sourcing a z32 shaft. Huhuh... I said shaft.... Again thanks for your wisdom. Hehe that reminds my of a fortune cookie fortune I got today. The wise learn more from fools than fools from the wise.
