I just got it working, a bud of mine did the wiring and hooked it up just like Autometer said... I have not set it yet but it seems to work. I was shocked that it was working, so I asked him how he did it. http://www.autometer.com/tech_faq.aspx?sid=2

Started to put the painless wiring kit in today, this will make the car a lot better. The mix of wiring it had before was no good.

I'm thinking 19,000$ firm right now this would save you about 10,000$ if you were to do all the work yourself. Im installing a painless wiring kit then tossing it on Ebay. How is your car going? Still apart?

Yep stil look around now and then to see what you guys are up to. I now have a GT35R KA24DE powered 240SX backed with a Ford C4 and have a baby on the way (she is almost 6 months now) so Im going to part with the Z and get her a Suby 2.5i wagon. The 240sx can fit the new kid and the old lady.. and I just never used the 240Z any more. I think im going to see what ebay bidding brings it up to... im open to offers. I want to install a painless harness 1st before I sell it. What I want will be alot less than all the parts that are in the car... not including the year of my life.

I run a 4.11 from an old turbo 200SX and I’m in the top of 3rd at the end of the traps hence my lower trap speeds then Stony. I think I would be faster with a 3.54 ratio. Keep it in 3 gears for the whole track… or go with a super high ratio from a 4x4 diff and push through 4….

Sorry if you guys dont like adds here I’m mildly thinking of selling my Z, New house takes a lot of my time and I now have a SX (sorry but I like air, power windows and a newer chassis) don’t know what to ask but I know I have over 20K US into it would like to get some where in the high teens for it… Again don’t know.. If the price is right I will let it go. It has a ton of aftermarket parts in it look here for a list and pic’s page two. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/709284 You should be mechanically inclined to own this car. I would also install a roll cage because a 400+ Zcar is a handful. The car is not perfect it dose have its flaws. That can be fixed easy. i.e. getting turn signals working and more tuning for day to day driving. Just some small things. The car runs 11.7 @ 117MPH will get into the tens with bigger turbos. That is all 3" but the little cone that is welded to the flange, it starts at 2.5" then goes to 3"

Use a 2.5" to 3" reducer (see photo)
