Schlasken Posted September 11, 2003 Share Posted September 11, 2003 i am planning my project and i`ve been thinking alot about the flares and wheels. my plan is zg flares an 17x10 CCW`s in the back and 17x9 in the front. is the zg flares wide enough for theese wheels? anyone got pictures of zg flares with CCW rims? Guest 72datsun240z Posted September 26, 2003 Share Posted September 26, 2003 i think that from what you are saying thats what i want but if you do go with 17x9 up front you will also go through ball joints every month and have clearence issue plus your steering is going to be much tuffer on you.i am going with an original 1970 Bre front spoiler zg flares and 17x7 upfront and 17x10 in rear either bbs deep dish or some other type. picture by my name discribes the front of it Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

johnc Posted September 26, 2003 Share Posted September 26, 2003 Demon has a set of CCW 17 x 9 fronts and 17 x 10s rear but his ZG flares are not installed yet. I have 16 x 10 Kodiaks on my car with ZG flares. Do a search for posts by me 'cuz I've put a bunch of photos of my ZG flare setup on this board. but if you do go with 17x9 up front you will also go through ball joints every month Not true.
