Guest FordMotherFocus
On Sunday I bought my 1975 280z with a 355 and a 700r4 already in it. Yea. I pulled off the dash (what a pain) and installed all the new guages, but am having trouble hooking them up. Running power and what not. Does anyone know a good place to have this done? Also I need a good mechanic to tune my Holley street avenger 770. Last night my starter went out so I need someone to put a new starter in. Does anyone know of a good mechanic who can do all this or any specific shop that would be good to take my car to to have all this work done. Please help. Guest zfan
I go to Compitition Machine of Plano. They built my last 350 sbc as well as tranny work. they pretty much can do it all. They just recently tuned my buddies 1974 Jenson Healy with a 700r4/ZZ4 350 and it haules butt. I do not have there number in front of me now so call info for number I believe there on Ave J in Plano. Ask for Mickey, he is the owner and a pretty good guy. Tell him Mike Worth with the V8 purple 240Z sent you. Mike
Sumo
Nice to see you finally got your Z, Did you buy it out of Austin? There is Ricks Car Care here in Irving, but i dont know if he can tune your carb for you. He is a clean shop but typical charge you by the book hour and $65 diagnostic fee to look for the problem you just told him you wanted to fix kinda shop. As far as the starter goes that should be simple enough for you isnt it?
