Guest thinkmonkey
What size and brand are the rotors in the front brake kit that Ross sells for the 1st gen z's? Are these vented 280zx's, or did I hear somewhere that they are 13" vented ones? I've searched through the archives, but I'm not sure. Thanks. -David Oh, those of you with the kit, are you pleased with it? Thanks again.

Guest thinkmonkey
Ooooooohhh... I saw all these pictures of the 13 inch Xtreme brake kit and I thought it was his regular front brake package for $345, which got me very excited to say the least. Well shoot, that kinda bums me out. Any info on the regular brake package? What rotor does he use, and what size it? If i have the 11.4 inch rotors on the back, I wouldn't want 10.8 inch 300zx's on the front. It would eat away at me physcologically... -David
j260z
prepare to be eaten away at... that kit contains everything you would need to install the later model toyota 4x4 brakes with the 300zx vented rotors. the kit does not include the calipers. Guest thinkmonkey
Shoot again, I knew it came without the calipers though. I would be inclined to jimmy-rig it with and some washers for the 280zx or Toyota calipers rather than purchase the kit. Really I'd rather pay $345 for the 13 inchers. Is there a brake kit that slots between the 300zx rotors and the 13 inchers? The wilwood 12" comes to mind but I don't know much about them. I'll have to contact ON3GO. Thanks J260. -David
j260z
you have to take into account that for $345 you're getting new rotors, pads, hub spacers, stainless brake lines and new mounting hardware. if you're on a budget you can always order the package without rotors and pads and save yourself $170 off the package. here's the link http://www.modern-motorsports.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_35&products_id=
