240sx rear calipers, CAN a 300zx Caliper be used?

People on ebay are selling 300zx calipers as upgrades to the 240sx crowd. Does that also mean that the 300zx calipers could be used in place of the 240sx calipers that are regularly being used with the 300zx rotors on the rear or back end of our cars?

I searched the forum and found no answers. Anyone try it? The 300zx calipers are going for less $.

i know that the z31 calipers look the same as the 240sx caliper but i believe they differ in the bracket for the emergency brake. the reason the 240sx calipers work so well is that they allow for a clean install of the e-brake.
