Guest joeyhammer
ok im trying to wire a 83 turbo ignition into my 73 before i drop in the motor.. i have the eccs and the coil bracket iwth condenser and everything.. the only thing is i had a 79 dist in there with the e12-80 module.. so i have 2 wires attached to the +side of the coil and one on the - side.. and there was the two wires that were connected to the e12-80 module.. the new ignition has a blue wire with a ring connector and two blue wires connected to 1 ring connector.. im pretty sure these go to the coil.(+ or - i dont know) . and theres a condenser that has a bullet connection that can plud into one of the blue wires. and a spade terminal on the other side of the condeser.. someone help please.. if not im gonna experimnet and probaby burn somehting out.. thanks for reading. and uyeah i have the haynes and the chiltons but im not sure how to collaborate the two (73 and 83). thanks again
yo2001
With 83 ECCS, aren't you using the turbo dizzy? It's just a 4 pin plug. little confused here.

yo2001
You don't need any of 79 stuff unless you run one for your tach. You have signal to ECU with 4 pin connector and you hook the ignitor to ECU signal, then ignitor triggers the coil. Make sense?
