Guest Nic-Rebel450CA Posted September 22, 2003 Share Posted September 22, 2003 I was just driving my Z to work and suddenly became bombarded by a most unusual smell. It smelled like someone boiling laundry soap or chlorine or something like that. At first I thought it was something in the air but then I realized after driving a few miles that I still smelled it just as strong, and then stopped and got out of my car and did not smell anything in the air. Could this be something in the gas that I put in? I have never smelled anything like this (with the exception of the nasty chlorine smell near the refineries in Benicia) and it was very bad as it was putting me to sleep and giving me a horrible headache. I couldnt find any indication of any leaks or anything that may have leaked and burned off.
