Guest 280ZXT83
Anybody have a good or bad experience, or recommendation for having sombody transport a car cross country? I would be going from Oakland CA to St. Louis, MO . There's a bunch on the net, and the last one I used was CRAP-O-LA Thanks-Jeff
denny411
I think your experience with transporters will be limited to whoever they have driving. I personally have never used a transporter. I just hitch up the trailer and go. If the choice is to either pay someone 700.00 to have it shipped, or spend 700.00 for fuel/ food/hotel to pick it up myself. I would rather pick it up myself and be able to ispect the car personally before I haul it away. Worse case scenario... I don`t buy what I came for, but I find some other bargain on the way home. Guest 280ZXT83
I contracted a hauler to bring me a Z from New Jersey to St. Louis, but they ended up stiffing me (to the tune of $250), and I had to go pick it up myself. Problem is, my weekends are booked, and I have no vaction days left, so I'm kinda stuck. Maybe you can get it 4 me!
