Guest H-TownSupraRacer
What is a good brake company that doesnt cost an arm and a leg that i can use on my 73 280Z. Brembo's kick ass but they cost enough to buy my car over again.

Savage42
You are right. You can get Wilwoods for $125-300 (each), depending on model & # of pistons, where the equivalent Brembo is $500-1000+ (each). Brembos are supposed to be better in regards to seals for street cars, but I can't justify the price.
auxilary
so, which car do you have? I searched your posts, and you have a '79-83 280zx, a 76 280zx, and a 73 280z (only one of those really exists as a model)
Guest Tempe_Z
Most AP Racing calipers also have the seals but then again they're also in the Brembo price range. I really wish Wilwood would market some calipers as "rally" calipers to justify the seals without implying they're for street vehicles to avoid any legal liabilities. Worst case though you could probably adapt some seals if you wanted to research what would fit the pistons on the Wilwoods and weren't afraid to machine into the caliper bodies to accomodate. Not sure if a minor grove would significantly weaken the calipers but it's an idea anyway.
