Guest Anonymous
Hey guys i am 18 and my baby just got wrecked and i am thinking on going the route of chevy power and japan weight. I live in Victoria BC Canada and 240z and 280z and 260 z chassis are impossible to find without rust piles underneath them. However there are a Vast number of excellent body's and frames of 1st gen rx-7's and was wondering if u guys ahve any hints/tips/helpful advice about dropping a 305 or 350 small blcok into the bay. I do realize this is the wrong type of chassis but it might be a similar process any help is greatly appriciated any and all post no matter how cynical or vauge it is would be of great assistance (i belive i am first one to try this) Thanks Andrew

Guest Drewz
How much you want to pay for a good 240Z. I got one from Arizona with factory air and am just finishing the 2.8 in it.
Drax240z
Hey man, there is a 2nd gen RX7 in victoria with a 350 installed. Its a charcoal grey colour. You can see him out at western speedway occasionaly at the sunday autocrosses as well as in shows around town. Sounds like a fun swap! (oh, and there are solid Z cars around victoria... I just sold one in Duncan 25 minutes ago. )

383 240z
I used grants kit but PLEASE do a quick search on http://www.torquecentral.com for him SEVERAL people have had problems with him as a parts source. I had NO trouble with him from what I have seen is the older cars (fb's and FC'c) he can ship very quickly the FD kits will take a LONG time also for the fb' and fc's the LS1 and LS6 mounts are always on back order. So if you are going early car, standard motor, you should have no problem BUT PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH. If you end up using a ford (gasp) motor the blubprints are on the TC website just make your own.
