Guest KEINsm
I have an early '71 240Z and I just noticed that my brake lights aren't working. During a traffic jam, I noticed that my hazard lights don't work as well! I'm a newbie so any help is greatly appreciated.
Tim240z
Topic moved from Troubleshooting/General Engine. Check all of your grounds. I assume that you have already checked your fuses. The tail lights are grounded to the body in the rear. Take them off, clean them up with a wire brush, put them back making sure that they have a good contact with the body. That may do the trick. spotfitz
Along with the grounds, as suggested by Tim, try cleaning the contacts in the hazard light switch. I have found this switch to be most of my running/brake light problems.
