Guest JAMIE T Posted October 4, 2003 Share Posted October 4, 2003 The ZXT engine I have has the oil cooler adapter. I don't have the lines but I do have the fittings(banjo bolts). Are aftermarket lines available that I can use, or do I need to find the correct lines to make it work. I guess I need to no if it would be easier to use an aftermarket oil cooler kit? randy 77zt Posted October 5, 2003 Share Posted October 5, 2003 i cut the crimps off with a die grinder and slid on some kind of commercial aeroquip hose i got from local supplier.i did the same thing with the oil cooler.them mounted oil cooler in front.oil cooler in 1/2 hour. It cost me $20 to have both the large bolt and the other oil feed opening tapped. The tap would cost more than that if you were to do it yourself... I have no leaks. It is a fitting that screws into the block and has a fitting for the turbo oil line at the top - the turbo oil line isn't visible in that picture.
