ToplessZ
Ok Im working on a five lug swap and I just got some five lug adapters. I have a set of four but am going to do a 300zx front hub swap to bring out the offset on the front and change to five lugs. However Im looking for a way to do the same thing on the rear. I would like to use modern supra type wheels and not have to use spacers or at least not adapters and a small spacer instead of a large one. Anyone thought of this before. Would it be possible to modify a different hub for the rears to add positive offset.
ToplessZ
ttt someone's had to have thought about this before???
fl327
rears will take more positive offset than fronts. right now i run +30 wheels on the rears with 16x7.5, it clears the stock strut by two fingers or so, if you use coils you can get more positive offset in there. ToplessZ
Yeah but when running a 10-12 inch supra wheel you need more like 35mm of offset. I want to add to the hub offset to keep my wheels out to the fender.
fl327
a 10 to 12 is going out to the fender anyway isnt it, or is it that you want 10-12 inches of rim on all four???
ToplessZ
not going out to the fender with the Imsa widebody kit some huge meats will fit under there.
