Guest 70240z
Well I think I've pretty much decided to get a complete Chromoly tube frame in the car with complete cage.. Anyway Ive been trying to decide on what front suspension to use.. I'm going to eliminate the strut's and go with a twin a-arm design. On my setup I have to accomplish 2 things I need the steering rack to be mounted in the rear and 2 I need the steering arms to sit as low as possible.. I've noticed on the 2nd gen supra's the suspension setup is similar to what I need.. Is anyone now using a twin a-arm design on the front??Or seen anything similar?? Also if anyone has photos of a complete tube frame install photos or a link would be greatly appreciated.. P.S>The engine set up I will be using is a 92 300ZXTT with twin hks 3037 ball bearing turbos and NOS to help them spool up sooner.. Should be good for close to 1000 hp
zlalomz
Check this out. Cary is still using struts because the car was originally built for a different class than E modified. http://photos.yahoo.com/cmcalstr
V8ZRACER260Z
The best I've seen is the C4 Vette suspension. It is realatively inexpensive and there are alot of hop up parts availible. There are alot of companies ofering a front, rear or full frame utilizing this suspension. I am currently building a custom frame with the C4 suspension from an 85 vette front & rear. I have the bottom frame done and am currently build ing the roll cage. check out my link at picture trail below. when it appears type in V8ZRACER260Z in the white box on the left side. If you need any help feel free to post or email me back.
