Thanks! 383 sbc 40 over, 4 bolt main, zero deck Eagle steel crank Eagle forged I beam rods w/arp rod bolts Probe forged pistons 10.8 to 1 at 65cc w/felpro 1010 gaskets Comp cams Hydraulic roller cam xr288hr-10 236/242-520/540 with 110 lobe sep. cam will be retarded 4 degrees to make it nuetral as comp builds 4 degrees advance into there cams. 1.50 rollers on the intake and 1.60 rollers on the exhaust Canfield heads 200cc ,65cc chambers. cnc chambers, 3 angle valve job with intake and exhaust ported and polished. double roller timing chain Intake manifold is up in the air as of now 750 Holley/proform dp 73 primary jets and 79 secondary jets All msd ignition system Hooker super comp long tube headers 2.5 dual exhaust with h pipe. flow master race series mini mufflers So what do you think, any glaring mistakes or any ideas for maximizing output? grumpyvette Posted October 31, 2003 Author Share Posted October 31, 2003 I think that looks fine, the only change Id make is to install the 1.6 rockers on the intake and the 1.5 rockers on the exhaust valves. that 2.5" exhaust may be slightly restrictive but I don,t think it should cause a problem.don,t forget that combo require you to keep the rpm range above about 3000rpm and below about 6300rpm to stay in the torque curves peak, so trans gearing and rear gearing and perhaps stall speeds if its an auto effect the combo! if its an auto equiped car a 3000rpm stall will be almost mandatory Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
