Guest ZmeFly Posted November 23, 2003 Share Posted November 23, 2003 I was out just messing around tonight and noticed that my turbo isnt boosting as much as it used to. I just happened to notice this tonight and went out to a lonlely road to do a few runs to see. Well it used to boost at 15#'s steady, now it will first peak at about 13#'s then drop to a steady 10-12#'s Is she about to meet the turbo god in heaven? or could it be my manual boost controller? Ill pull the ic piping apart tomorrow and see if im getting any oil in my intake piping, that would be the only thing that would lead me to believe its starting to go bad. Thanks for any advice. If you have any play in the shaft of your turbo,...that isn't good. : beside that, it is something else, your turbo is probably not dismentling itself !!! I hope so !! Guest ZmeFly Posted November 24, 2003 Share Posted November 24, 2003 Today I couldnt find any problems, no oil in the piping, shaft play was very minimal to about 1/16 th of an inch if that, I mean it barely moved. Still no matter what nothing over 12#'s of boost. I even adjusted the MBC and still nothing so Im wondering if one its the MBC or two its the CAT starting to clog up.
