DavyZ
i heard from a person at part source that if you put vinager on the pistones of an engin that is seized it will unseize them. i want to know if this is true? Sounds like an old wives tale to me. Vinegar is water based and has ascetic (sp?) acid in it. It's great for removing water spots/mineral deposits from paint and windows, but how can it break loose seized metal? I had a friend put ATF inside the cylinders and free them up on a Toyota pickup, but beyond that, nothing else... Davy
Sumo
Put some Marvel Mystery oil instead of vinegar, it's smells less stinky and i've actually seen this work. Of course each case maybe different but it's better than using vinegar.
