Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
To anyone that is thinking of using a 327 in their Z, do it! HeavyZ just took me for a ride in his Z yesterday and it was awesome! The performance and sound is just so fitting for these cars. Sure other setups could probably get more torque, but I dont think they would be as suiting. The only thing I DIDN'T like about HeavyZ's car was the fact that it made mine look sad.. That car handled the turns like it didnt know that it wasnt on rails! My car wants to be like his when it's all growed up. Thanks Brett! Heavy Z
Thanks Nic, I'm glad you enjoyed the ride. I took my car to Berkley today and it was still acting up, I'm going to try my friend's 650 Demon this weekend to see if the probs carb or not. Good luck with your project, you've got a solid car to work with and your engine plans sound cool - different than the usual sbc!
Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
You can try my Rochester Q-Jet if you want to try a really fun carb.
EvilRufusKay
Is that car as nice on the inside as it is on the outside? one word comes to mind......Sweeeeeeeeeet!!! I love the added scoop on the hood. What kind of rear end does she have? Rufus
Guest Nic-Rebel450CA
The interior is very nice. I love the guages and the little lights everywhere. I am going to have to catch up with him again to take notes, that car is nearly complete and it is great to see something like that as I start out on my journey. I believe he said the rear-end is a 3.70. An all-around good setup. For mine I plan to have the RPMs run a little higher, which will work out good because I have 3.90s
