Guest jeff1216
I bought a rebuilt TH350 tranny on Friday. It was rebuilt about a year ago and his been sitting on the shop floor ever since. I put the Torqe converter on the tranny and made sure it clicked in to the 3rd position. Mounted the tranny to the small block....When I went to bolt the Converter to the Flex Plate it would not budge.....Was not in park. Unbolted the tranny and tried to get the converter to spin.....Would not budge. What is going on here??????????
datsunlover
Was it instaled in anything since the rebuild or just been sitting? if it hasn't been used since the rebuild, it might be a mistake/misalignment that was made during assembly... did you rebuild it yourself or have a shop do it? you say it's not in park.. does the shifter lever in the side move ok? Mabe something fell off inside, or came loose...
