Lostsol
Hi I am having a problem with the screws that came with the headlight covers I bought from MSA. they seem to be too short. Do I have the wrong screws? or is there a trick to getting them to work? Anybody else run into problems? Thanks
fl327
you gotta work those things into place, they dont just slap on. my buddy used double stick tape to attach his, and its been fine.
CruxGNZ
If you get the chance, screw the mounts into the headlight bucket. I had used the double sided tape and one cover almost flew off, because the tape just came loose. The surface was cleaned with alchohol and I followed the directions, but they still just came off. To make things easier next time I put on headlight covers, I'll just take off the headlight bucket. This would make things a heck of a lot easier considering you will be able to get a hand inside the bucket. Oh yeah, the holes in the cover didn't line up very well with a couple of the mounts on my Z. It was as if the mounts weren't tall enough. Also, in the directions it says not to tighten the screws down to tight. Just make them snug, don't wrench it down! The covers will spider crack, trust me on this one. !M!
