johnc
Matt, Such an engine swap is not legal under SP (Street Prepared). It is legal under SM (Street Modified) 2. I'm working on Amir's swap right now and its a pretty interesting idea for competition. There are still some unknowns regarding suspension setup but when his car get's over to Erik Messley's shop a lot of that should be figured out. One of the handling concerns is that the car might not turn in very well. In general, Zs are sluggish on turn in and lots of suspension work will get them to an acceptable level. Moving bunches more weight off the front might exacerbate that problem and move to turn-in back to "sluggish."
