Hi guys!

1 month of the year gone already... productive? 10 Months left till I fly to the US from Perth, Western Australia for an adventure.

My plan so far is to buy a car (A cheep 260z) and travel around the country for a year or so getting jobs here and there and see where I end up.

What I am writing here for is to ask if any one on this board would allow me to stay with them for a few days. Maybe even give me a job if you have to power to do so. I will do anything, Computer related, babysitting, retail, labouring, cleaning, you name it... I am very keen to learn.

I am a second year BA. Deg. Computer Science / Software Engineering student at Curtin University (Of Technology) in Western Australia. I already have a Diploma in Network Engineering/Management, And have worked for a local IT Company for 3 years part time also at my Dads Newsagency while I was at school.

I am 21 neat and tidy, healthy non-smoker, social drinker. hoping to do a little sight seeing, surfing, snow skiing, partying and drinking.

Just wondering if any one is Interested in having a very interesting Australian lad stay with them for a few days.

Cheers

Simon

Now is that wierd! :weird: I want to do the same thing, but in Australia 8) My dream is to just go over there and live like a normal person (read- I don't have wads of cash to spend, I need to work) and see as much as possible. Taking odd jobs here and there just so I can travel around to see more. Would be one hell of an adventure... someday I will...

Good luck and take many, many pictures!

I've got open doors as long as you arent weird :weird::wink:

I think that sounds like a lot of fun and I just couldnt say no since I would love it if someone did the same thing for me. Besides, I cant pass up an opportunity to try some new food!

Keep me updated when you visit my area (Sacramento, CA) (a.k.a The West Coast)

BTW, nothing against you, but if anyone has any advice to offer the crowd as far as safety when letting someone stay that you havent met before, it would be appreciated and might help our friend find more spots to stay.
