Guest jjohart
I finally found an importer for SSR reverse mesh wheels (in silver)-and a few others not in SSR's US distribution catalog. They are Gruppe-S motorsports, in Fremont, CA. They tell me it takes 2 months to get these wheels, and their web site isn't updated of late so they initally quoted me $450 a wheel, but then said they'd honor $415 posted online-big savings, eh? Has anyone else here heard of or done business with them? They certainly sound Japanese/English speaking, but cust. service varies depending on who you speak to on any given call, and they've not been great on returning e mails. Anyways, I'm probably going for the 16" sizing http://www.gruppe-s.com/SSR/SSRReverse.htm, but I just want to make sure that I'm picking the right offset: (Tire rack supplied info): said I've got an offset range bet. +10 and +20? Billet wheel specialties said I've got a 5.675 backspace. If I want a staggered 16" set up, what are my width choices for tires/tire sizes to pick a bonus question, thanks John

z-ya
Look at the Compomotive Wheels: http://www.usacomp.com As soon as I have enough $, I'm going to order a set of MOs in silver: http://www.usacomp.com/mo.htm If you tell them you are using them for racing, they give you a decent discount. Guest jjohart
Uh, apart from the MB style which looks like the same old boring Panasport /Watanabe styling, and a very overdone 4 bolt spinner overstyled wheel, I don't see much in four bolt/16" fitment to fit Z's. Maybe I missed something, but it still seems to me like there's not a lot of choice for Z owners in this line up, particularly for "new version of the old scene" wheels! Thanks anyway! z-ya
After a little browsing, I found these. All of which are available in 4 lug, and just about any backspace. http://www.usacomp.com/ps.htm http://www.usacomp.com/cxn.htm http://www.usacomp.com/tfn.htm http://www.usacomp.com/ts.htm http://www.usacomp.com/mor.htm IF you call them, they are very helpfull. There is about a 4 week lead time as they are made order in the UK. Prices aren't bad for a custom made wheel.
Guest jjohart
Yes, there is more than met the eye..they don't exactly jump out at first glance and say "suited for Z and other anachronistic offsets!". Sorry, I admit, I don't understand the whole realm of why wheels for Z's fall in with wheels for Chevy Vegas and the like! Uggh! Thanks, John
z-ya
John, May I suggest some wheel adapters that will let you choose from thousands of wheels. They will adapt the Zs zero offset ot a more "Honda like" positive offset. Then the sky is the limit as far as wheel designs. http://www.modern-motorsports.com Pete
240Z_Master
I might be able to get the SSRs cheaper. What size wheels did you want to get? Maybe then you could figure out the offsets from that. I found a guy who sells used Japanese Wheels maybe cheaper for you. http://www.takumiproject.com He's in Southern California. I've always wanted a set of SSR Mesh Wheels, Watanabe's, and some gram lights...
240Z_Master
PS, I also got the Gram Lights 57 Pro in 15x7.5 and did a lot of research on the offset. PM me or Email or AIM and I might be able to help you.
