Guest 85tzcheees Posted February 3, 2004 Share Posted February 3, 2004 This 302 says it comes with 345 hp and alluminum heads. is this the same size as a regular 260 hp 5.0L? im thinking about putting this engine in my Z because my turbo engine right now has about 270K miles on it and i figure it wont last me another 2 yrs, so instead of rebuilding it i wanna get a 302 with much more power. Is there any custom things that will be needed to make this fit(302 gt-40 with T-5)? is it possible to put the engine in myself with the crane thing that lifts it up and not have to pay like 2000 bux, or are the motor mounts to hard to do?
