Guest Restless
Hey guys, it's been about a year or two since I was active on this board and forgot my old login info. It's nice to see how the site has grown and the community still strong. To the point...my Z has been sitting in the garage for a couple of years and I'm ready to ressurrect her. The problem is that I'm not mechanicaly inclined so I'm looking for a good shop that can do some work for me. I have a 280z with an SBC yada yada. Can anyone recommend a good shop for engine and suspension work in the Southwest? I live in Albuquerque but will transport the car to any of the neighboring states...perhaps Cal. even if I must. I want a shop that doesn't mind the Hybrids. Any ideas? Thanks. Chris Edit: To be more clear, I'm intested in the type of shops that do restorations and what not...not just an ordinary garage (we have them too in Albququerque hehe)

Guest Restless
The car is a '75 280 with a crate Goodwrench 350 and 700R4 tranny. It is completely rust free and straight. I want to install an LT1 or LS1 with 6spd, upgrade the driveshaft, rear-end to an LSD, new suspension all around, new brakes, some form of roll cage and interior work and a very good paint job. If I can't find anyone I think I'll just sell it. I dont have the time nor desire anymore to learn to do it myself unfortunately. I'm pretty much looking for a Custom Hotrod shop that is willing to work on my Z...and not some 1945 Ford...

Z-Dreamer
Restless, Contact Dan Juday, a member on this site. He installed a LT1/T56 into a Tomahawk Z this past summer. He might be interested in helping you. Mark
