Bluto
Pretty much as the subject heading says.. my machinist says ill be at about 4thou over stock bore after cleaning up the cylinders. this is for a turbo motor btw So, do i have em bore it out or let it ride with the hone..? I think this will likely be the second time this block has been honed, not sure if that would affect the decision. The motor shows some signs of being ripped apart and rebuilt (very poorly ) anyway, any help is appreciated, Sam
Lockjaw
Thats a little wide for a cast piston, a forged would probably be ok in there. Of course if I was going to buy a forged pistion, I would bore it out and pick up displacement, it doesn't matter what the bore size is, the piston will still cost the same.
