Guest Anonymous
I have an old 74 350 V8 out of a Blazer. The engine will need some work. I have already ordered the JTR guide on the swap but I am curious if there are any tips out there. I appreciate any information you could give

Guest greimann
The JTR motor mounts and trans mount will not work with the ZX. You will have to install the motor "straight down" and the transmission will also have to be a concoction of your own, depending on what type of transmission you install. If you have the power steering box, you are going to have a tight fit on the left side exhaust manifold. The best fit is to use a Chevy manifold, casting #364747. There are some pictures at the link in my sig. Good luck!
