Direct Port Nitrous on L28et

Has anyone done or seen direct port nitrous done on an L28et. Since, I'm planning on upgrading the turbo, I figure that I need to upgrade the injectors as well, so I thought about just going with direct port nitrous while I'm doing all this. Will a direct port kit like Nitrous Express offers contain injectors, or will I need to get injectors, what else will I need to upgrade besides the fuel pump and at what point will I have to start spending money to keep stuff from breaking rather than adding horsepower. I'm hoping to get 350-400hp with the nitrous.

Nitrous is fun, I have not had it on my Z but had it on my old honda, if you follow the manufcturers instruction and don't get greedy you should be ok, I think 80 or 90 shot would be the most you could throw at the L28ET safely without special modifications, and yes it looks like that kit comes with 6 wet foggers, which i hear is the only way to run NO2 on the L28ET

I kinda consider my L28T more of a NOS motor than boost, just because I dont plan on making crazy numbers on the motor but do plan on filling in the gaps on spray. I usually would recomend and run direct port system on higher horsepower applications. If your planning on spraying 100-150hp you should be good with a single fogger about 3-5 inches before the T body, a fuel jet for that shot isn't too big and automizes pretty easy and quick. When you get heavy on the spray and are pumping lots of fuel in the intake your chances of loading your intake with fuel causing a catastrophe are greater. But we are generally talking about a 175hp shot or higher. The next big issue is ignition control, when your on the spray you really develop high pressure in the combustion chamber, pre-igniton is much more likly. So have programablity of the igntion time on the spray helps you controll when the cylinders fire. Your on the right track with wanting a larger injector but that should be more for keeping a safe tune off spray. I personally wouldn't spray the car unless you get it to land 300hp to the wheels on the motor. I can go on and on about things to do to taylor your motor to the spray but this isnt a book and I am hungry so good luck and feel free to drop me a personal message, E-mail or phone call. Good luck.
