Guest Looking for apt in Alb Ny
I threw away the cylinders that came with the struts. I thought they were for packaging purpose. Well now I realized what they are for and its for the rears because the strut tube is much taller by about 2 inches. Where can I get these? does anyone have some lying around?I guess I can call tokico up but Im the last minute kind of guy. What about exhaust or plumbing metal. The orginal were thick walled and very beefy. thanks again Juan
evildky
call tokiko, I bought a set of strut cartiiges for my Z31 years ago, and the fronts were missing the top spacers, they shipped them out to me next day air, really fast friendly customer service, you might not want to tell them you threw them away but they might give them to you anyhow
z-ya
Juan, Why not just section the strut tube while you have it appart? I assume you are putting coil overs on? Pete
Guest Looking for apt in Alb Ny
Well call me an honest guy I did tell them I threw them away but!... I thought they were for packaging reasons to protect the struts. I have had differrent struts before but I didnt see what the spacer was for. I have a pair on the way. Thank you again for providing me with info. Juan
