Guest bastaad525
Was warm out today when I drove home from work at about 10am... and after everything I've done the car still getting too warm just from regular freeway cruising. The gauge is getting 3/4 of the way up, which, going from my comparison to the guages indication and the meat thermometers reading, puts it right around 200-210*. Gonna try to stop driving the car a bit... I have to drop the car off next week for some work, new clutch and some stuff, then after that I'll take the radiator and get it flushed. Guest bastaad525
About the lower radiator hose collapsing, I haven't been able to find a lower hose with wire in it. I just bought a stock replacement hose from napa, it's not even a month old. Can this problem happen with new hoses too? Is this something I could observe by just revving the motor in neutral or does it have to be under load?
