Can I get 235/45/17 on a 17x7.5 wheel in the back without rubbing?

I'll be putting 225/45/16 on 16x7 on the front, those should be good right?

I'm running 225/45/16's all the way around on my 81 turbo. No sweat on the fronts, but the back may get a little close. I don't have much room left on mine. So far I havn't noticed any rubbing or bottoming out. The ride is a little stiffer tho.

Dave,

You should have no problem with your choice if you select a wheel with the correct offset/backspacing. I've got 235-40x17 in the rear of my 1970, however they are on 9" wide wheels, with sectioned struts and coilovers.
