preith Posted May 11, 2004 Share Posted May 11, 2004 Just finished rebuilding (replaced boots and regreased) my u-joint halfshafts this weekend and was curious. I had two sets to work with (long story) and had planned on using a third one for a spare but ran into a snag. The pair that I did complete had a cap/o-ring snap ringed on the back side, but the other looks more like an interference fit cap which was hammered on from the factory.
