Guest zfan
Anyone have any idea what they weigh? My friend is asking 350.00 for the 4 rims and 1/2 worn Kumho Ezsta's I think that is what they are anyway? I couldn't find any info on them. 80LS1T
I have those on my car. Mine are 17x7's. I have tires on them now though. You want me to go weight them with the tires on them? I have BFG T/A KD's 225/45/17's on them. Guy I went and weight a tire/rim combo............40lbs! Is that heavy for a tire/rim combo? It seems like it is? Guest zfan
Thanks for the info and going to the trouble of weighing them. I appreciated that. Mike
80LS1T
No problem! Now what is a decent weight for a tire/rim combo? 40LBS per corner seems kinda high? Guy
Guest zfan
You are right I believe. That does sound kind of pig heavy I have 15"x7" Fluted Centerline rims on her now and have 225/60's yokahama AVS's and 205/65's on the front. I think they are alot lighter I almost hate to sell them for the 17 rear/16 front combo because of the added weight but do like the style of the Monsoon's. 8) Mike
Guest comeandzpa
I'm not sure how much the inflated tires weigh. I know that "light" 17's run 15-19 pounds a piece, and the heavy ones run closer to 25. I'd hazard a guess that the tires don't weigh the same as the rims, so I think maybe that's a little high.
80LS1T
I kinda thought they might be. Oh well atleast they look good. Once the car is painted I will probably look for another set for the track that a little lighter. Not to mention there isnt much sidewall flex in a 225/45/17! I need some 15's with some DR's for the track! Guy
