Guest Anonymous
I realize this a z board, but you guys seem to be the most knowledgeable about these sorts of things. I am seriously considering putting the 350 into my 90 fastback but I wanted some input on it, and maybe the sorts of things I should check out to make sure it'd fit ... just any constructive comments really, and if any experienced soul in Va could personally help me I'd be indebted for life I read that past thread on this topic, just curious if there'd been any updates since. KiD-ViD
well you could do it but I have never seen this documented before so you would be on your own for the swap. it would be a tight fit too. I am currently helping a friend swap an sr20det into his 89 sx. if I were you I would just go for the sr swap...it would be ALOT easier and it is well documented. that motor pushes some good power too. then again you could also go with the rb26dett swap if you want more power...280hp stock I think and that is underrated too. thoes motors will push alot of power easy too. try reading up on www.240sx.org they have alot of helpfull info and some message boards aswell. Guest Anonymous
I am the first known to have competed this with a fuel injected motor. The carburated motors have been used for years in 240sx coupes. If you need any help or information, feel free to email me.
