Guest 570Z
Hey guys. My 240Z has a built 350 Chevy with an edelbrock 600CFM performer. I'm up here in Arvada (5200 ft above sea level) and my Z has a nasty stumble that would kill the engine under heavy load out of first gear. after first, if you walked into full throttle, it wont stumble or miss or anything and carry right up to 5500RPM. So far I've got most of the problem out, I went 8%/8% lean on the primary and secondary jets, and got the recommended metering rods. I also set the accelerator pump on the least setting. The stumble is almost gone, but it is still a bit of a nuisance. I think the timing is fine, does anyone else have this problem up here?
