Guest Pegasus76
Ok, here's the deal. I just got done switching ou the spark plugs and the wires...But now it sounds OFF It starts and it runs but neither the engine or the exhaust seem to sound smooth while running. Before I changed the plugs and the wires I was idling at 8 and 9...Now I'm running at 5 and 6...Any advice on what happened and what to do? Guest bastaad525
yeah you probably put them on in the wrong order, or the gaps arent right, or at worst you got defective parts... all easily tested and checked.
Guest Pegasus76
Hmmmm arne't the plugs supposed to be at .43? Also, what is the correct firing order? I could of sworn I put them in right, but just to make sure...Is there a site or can someone tell me?
Guest bastaad525
ugh... you dont have a haynes manual or something similiar? Did you take the wires off and replace them one at a time so as not to mix the order up? I dont have the manual for 300zx so not sure on the order on that... it's always good to have a haynes manual for whatever car you own, if you do any work on the car yourself or even if you dont, it's a good way sometimes to figure out what might be wrong with your car. I say pick one up ASAP
