speeder Posted July 11, 2004 Share Posted July 11, 2004 Well, after chasing my oil smoke problem on my new 3.0 L6 I've finally come to the conclusion that this is another one of those Total Seal - equipped engines that will not wear - in the rings. I just couldn't resist using those things.... Does anyone have a recommendation for rings (other than Total Seal)? This is a low compression Turbo Motor. I went thru the same senerio with one of my motors using Total Seal gappless. I ended up swapping them out with a set my local machinist got for me, made by Sealed Power, I belive was the name.
