Where's the lead to d/c the oxy sensor warn light?

As above...the owner's manual says the light comes on automatically at 30,000mi (hmmm, I"ve got 52k)....my mechanic and I looked under both footwell kick panels and found no single "GY-grey-wire located on the r. side of the instrument panel" to disconnect, per instructions in service CD.

Of course, the owner's manual says to "bring the car to a Datsun dealer!"

Can anyone send a photo, or a really clear map of where to look to find this dumb plug to unplug?

The wire to disconnect is below the glovebox and a little to the right. It has a male and female connector plugged together. The haynes manual tells you where it is also. Just disconnect it and check, the light will quit immediately if it is the right wire. It is under the panel below the glovebox that has the floor light in it. The two screws that hold it are to the left and right of the light.
