Guest 007fastZ Posted July 18, 2004 Share Posted July 18, 2004 my problem is my door open warning light comes when i'm going around curves or big bumbs, i have a 280zx and when i push the middle of the door the light will go on but if i push towards the end where in shuts it doesns't. They are those pieces of metal that stick out from the door that allow the door to have something to grab onto to actually shut and lock. On this metal, there will be a plastic tube. If this plastic is other wise broken or missing, then your door will rock a little and set off the door sensor. Could be the first thing said, but the striker could be it as well.
