Guest 77vegasz
If you have the specs on the cam, email me at stratman315@aol.com and I will run it on Desktop Dyno for you. Keep in mind single plane intakes give you a little more high rpm hp, but sacrifice torque. With the valve sizes you yave and the assumption that this is primarily for street driving, you may want to look at a dual plane manifold for more low rpm torque. Be sure to match your cam and intake combo for there intended use. Edelbrock has many good off the shelf cam/intake packages. Jon
dune333racing
There are alot of factors to think about here what heads are on it, your cylinder heads is where you are going to make power. Also if the heads aftermarket or stock oem or what size valves are in them. About the engine I would ask how many miles are on( estimated if they don't know)and was it driven every day or on the weekends or was driven hard or not. But on the other you have a complete engine to go back through regardless it is probably worth it to get it as a core but be careful some people say what expensive parts they have in a motor and you open it up and realize how full of sh*t they are or maybe they didnt know and thats what they were told. Anyway I would find out more about it.
