SpeedRacer Posted July 21, 2004 Share Posted July 21, 2004 I know it's a kit car but the only rattle I have in the whole car comes from the windows when they are rolled down. I have been trying to fix the window rattles in both doors of my '71 Z without much success. Each door has new run channels, rollers and door panels. However, I can't find out how many rollers and on what side of the window they should be on. I have looked in my various manuals but they are no help. datsunlover Posted July 21, 2004 Share Posted July 21, 2004 My Z rattles to man.. and as far as I know (judging from mine) there is only one roller.. it sits on the outside edge of the door, and rolls on the out side of the window as the window comes down.
