Guest 2slo4u
Just completed the 280/300 ecu swap and... IT'S ALYEEEEV! Thanks to all of the genius folks on this site, I was able to complete the swap of all components this morning. It cranked right up on first try. Now I'm just trying to cure a slight miss. I double checked the distributor sensor wheel and it's in correctly. -Still have to run to the hardware store for a tube to connect the air filter to the mas. I have it temporarily connected with aluminum tape because the hot air from the engine was causing it to run very rough. -I posted the other issues I'm having on the ecu swap sticky, but..... ITT"SS ALIIIIIIIVE!.........IT'S ALLLLLIIIIVE!.... 81zxturbenstein 95slobaru impreza

Afshin
HI, glad to hear it's running. double or triple check all the connectors and pins to make sure all contacts are good, no vacuum leak .....they are the most frequent culprits for hesitation...... Start with the timing set at 20-22 and play with it from there. Lastly, are you running the old repaired previously burnt ecu, or is this a solid unit ?
